The Veterans Outreach Office Is Proud to Serve our Military Students
The MC Veteran Outreach Office is committed to ensuring our veteran and military students have the tools and resources they need to be successful in a challenging, dynamic and diverse academic environment. Additionally, we can help determine which benefits military dependents and/or spouses may be eligible for. We hope that you will feel welcome to call, email, or visit us with any questions, concerns, or needs that you may have. We will do our best to meet those needs or put you in contact with someone, or an office, that can assist you.
The primary function of the Veteran Outreach Office is to certify enrollment to the Dept of Veterans Affairs for students that are using military education benefits at MC. In addition to certifying enrollment, the Veteran Outreach Office can provide information pertaining to veteran-related services, veteran and dependent scholarship information, and general information pertaining to the GI Bill®.
MC is a participating institution in the Yellow Ribbon Program. As such, we will fund tuition and fee expenses that exceed what is covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. The Yellow Ribbon Program was established by the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.

Military Tuition Rate
The MC military rate is our way of showing support to currently serving members of the US military. Undergraduate and graduate students that are serving in the US military will be eligible to receive reduced tuition of $250 per credit hour for qualifying undergraduate programs and a reduced tuition rate of $375 per credit hour for qualifying graduate-level programs.1 They will need to speak to their admissions counselor for information on which programs are eligible for this rate.
1Excludes any undergraduate or graduate programs priced specifically and separately by program and the military rate is not “stackable” with other institutional scholarships.
Applicants will need to fulfill the following criteria to receive this benefit.
- Apply for admission into a qualifying academic degree program at MC
- Currently serving in the US military (part-time, full-time, Reserve, Guard, etc.)
- Submit a copy of their orders to MC Enrollment Services using [email protected]
- Gain admission to MC
- Undergraduate applicants will need to discuss their desire to use the MC military rate OR to use scholarships with their admissions counselor. Institutional scholarships are not stackable with the MC military rate.
Deadline
