Our 12-24 months Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree program is led by supportive, doctoral-educated faculty with real-world accounting experience. From them, you’ll acquire the advanced accounting and analytical skills that today’s public accounting and industry firms are looking for. Our online MAcc degree provides the preparation for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination and the additional credit hours required for obtaining a CPA license. Mississippi College’s School of Business also offers an MBA in Accounting that integrates accounting and business courses to offer a broader perspective on accounting and management.
Note: Specific requirements to sit for the CPA Exam vary from state to state. Mississippi College has determined the BSBA in Accounting, Accounting Certificate, MBA in Accounting, and Master of Accountancy meet the requirements for eligibility for CPA licensure in the State of Mississippi. These requirements may be found on the website of the Mississippi Board of Public Accountancy at www.msbpa.ms.gov. For CPA requirements in other states, please refer to the CPA state board websites in those states.
